These are great 2-way speakers by Advent, "Baby Advent II's". Two-way design featuring an 6.5" paper woofer with new, fresh foam surrounds just installed and a .75" Mylar tweeter. Very solidly built solid Oak wood top & bottom plates. The cabinets that are in great shape as are the original grills. Great sounding with sonic detail and balance. Great for smaller systems or for surround speakers. These are "bookshelf" size speakers so their height and foot print is minimal. Only minor cosmetic issues including candle wax on one of the back labels (see lower photos). We have completely tested them including sweeping them with an audio generator looking for any acoustical anomalies or extraneous noises or sounds. They work and sound great! Made in USA! Each measures 16.5" high x 11.5" wide x 6.5" deep and weighs 16 lbs unpacked. Includes our standard 90 day limited warranty (excluding problems due to under / over powering).

A smaller version of the famous "The Advent Loudspeaker" speakers, the Advent 1's. They utilize the same 9.5" woofer and "Fried Egg" tweeter as the full size "Loudspeakers". Similar sound in a smaller box. Still sounds as good today as it did then and these are no exception. If you are a fan of AR 2ax's from that period, and most folks are, you will love the detail, definition and bass response of these speakers. Very accurate!!!

Specifications are:

 Impedance: 4 Ω 
Frequency response - 20Hz-15KhZ +-5dB
Recommended Minimum Power amplifier rating: 15 watts

Utility-box versions. This pair has a few "battle scars" but nothing too distracting (see lower set of photos). Original "burlap" linen grills still in good shape as are the grill frames. Minor, typical snags, but none of the typical water staining. Woofers have just had fresh & complete re-foamed surrounds for years of trouble free service. Tweeters also look and sound great! These are among the best sounding of the vintage speaker models you will hear! Definitely one of the classic "New England" speakers. Cabinets measures 20" high x 11.5" wide x 9.5" deep and weighs 23 lbs each. Includes our standard 90 day limited warranty (excluding problems due to under / over powering.
