Following restoration procedures, the unit was ran continuously at medium volume, as all our amplifier / receivers are, into a load with "Loudness" on and both Tone Controls at 10 for 48 hours.
  
  While this unit was originally rated at 32 wpc at 8 ohms, on our test bench, both internal power amps of this particular unit, #..949S produced 19.6 volts per channel at 8 ohms for 48 watts per channel and 19 volts at 6 ohms for 60 watts per channel via discrete, output devices. (2x D883A & 2x B773A) DC: L= -4.1mv / R= -4.3mv
