Unit powers up, dial lights
light, and everything works well. We are parting
out due to two of the "corner fader" controls were destroyed by
using a "cold" type of pot cleaner. New replacements are not
available. Power amp produced 25 volts for 80 wpc. Unit good
cosmetically. Face, case, rear panel and face in great
condition (scuff on top edge of face flip down cover, and wood case has
some normal wear- see photos). Knobs all
look new. Pots and switches will be cleaned prior to shipping.
Many of the parts such as controls, pots, switches and knobs will / may also fit
other QX models.

- PARTING OUT -
Unit powers up, dial lights light, but has some burned
resistors on the driver board. We didn't realize this until we had "chopped"
the unit, other wise we would have simply identified the resistors from the
other side and replaced the bad components. Oh well. Unit
VERY good
cosmetically. Face, case, rear panel and face with wood end caps in great
condition (small scuff on top edge of face plate- see photos). Knobs all
look new. Pots and switches will be cleaned prior to
shipping.
Many of the parts such as controls, pots, switches and knobs may also fit
SX-3600 / SX-3700 / SX-3800 models.
Our experience has been that while this series is a bit
labor intensive to do maintenance on, they are generally great performers
both sonically and for their tuner aspects.

Parting out a perfect Pioneer RT-1050L Reel-Reel Deck. Everything runs and
works great, except that it is distorted on the left
side! Heads in like new condition. Hubs run perfectly true! All
motors run fine, fast, smooth and quiet. All transport functions work
well. Internal boards will need trim pots adjusted when installed in new
deck. Cosmetics like new!

If the locking push switch on your
RG-2, RG-9, RG-60, SG-300, SG-540, SG-550, SG-9500, SG-9800, SR-9, SR-60, SR-303,
and other
Pioneer EQ's, Reverbs, Dynamic Processors is not staying in,
or will not lock, then here's
the
fix for you. May also fit other units. The original switches had
/ have almost a
100% failure
rate after a few years. If yours is not broken yet, it
will fail and probably soon.
Failure is due
to a plastic locking mechanism that is many years beyond it's designed lifespan.
The plastic part that fails,
is less than a mm thick, has a metal pin catching on it and is 25+ years old.
Almost every time we bench
one of the above listed units, the original switch lock will fail after being
depressed 1-6 times. Even if the lock functioned
when we purchased the unit we know it will either fail on us in restoration or
on the buyer of the unit.
These switches will replace Tape Monitor,
Attenuator, Processor
and other push-in / locking switches on vintage Pioneer Gear. We have
both
12-Pin (4-pole, 6 pins per side) and 18-pin (6-pole, 9 pins per side)
switches.
They are a simple install for most electronic techs. Includes basic
instructions.
