AKAI AP-307 FULLY-AUTOMATIC DIRECT DRIVE STEREO TURNTABLE SOLD 1/13/08 #...1271 MADE IN JAPAN Circa 1979-80 "WORLD AC POWER" ™ for sale We have just had the table completely gone through by CBS turntable services cleaning inside and out, cleaning & lubricating mechanism, adjusting tone arm lead-in / lead-out and testing performance. Speed checked and verified for accuracy with test strobe disc against built-in strobe monitor and factory test disc. PLL Quartz speed lock also verified. Gimbal bearing, counter weight and anti-skating all adjusted and verified for accuracy. Return mechanism cleaned, re-lubed, adjusted and tested. All functions work great! Original dust cover just had fresh buff by CBS, and came out decently with some remaining scuffing (see lower right photos above). Cover hinges still intact with no cracking to dust over in that area. Original rubber mat, still supple and flexible with no hardening. CBS also installed and adjusted a brand new Audio-Technica, AT-71ELCOT, Elliptical cut Diamond, magnetic cartridge and optimized the tone arm for it. (If you prefer an up-grade you may also choose from our selection of new Audio Technica cartridges that we can also set up and ship with it for the additional cartridge cost.) You can readily connect this table to any receiver, Integrated amplifier with a standard magnetic phono input, or a Pre-amp. MADE IN THE USA RPM 78'S 78S for sale We have completely gone through it cleaning inside and out, disassembled & lubricated main gear mechanism, resurfaced idler drive wheel and test played. Turntable holds speed well. Platter mat and built-in 45 adaptor both intact and in good shape. Both 78 and LP stylus's are in good condition. Original Ceramic cartridge still intact. Unit does have some markings on it from the Cripple Creek / Victor Colorado School system. Maybe a "cool" thing if you know anything about historic Cripple Creek, Colorado. All functions test and phonograph still looks good! __________________________________ Refurbished Audiotronics, 300E "School style" record player / phonograph. Plays 16, 33, 45 & 78 RPM records. We have completely gone through it cleaning inside and out, disassembled & lubricated main gear mechanism, resurfaced & reconditioned idler wheel and test played. Both rotary controls, volume and tone, were cleaned for static / noise free operation. All functions work great! Turntable holds speed well. Both 78 and LP stylus's are in good condition. Original Ceramic cartridge still intact. This is a "stand alone" unit with it's own built-in amp and speaker so no need to connect to another system to use. It also features a built-in, headphone jack. Also even though it is a "Mono" system the cartridge / stylus is compatible with all stereo albums / records. Feet have built in suspension to reduce noise / rumble from floor noise as does the speaker. Unit is UL listed and has original 3-prong, grounded AC cord intact for safety. Again, the cosmetic issue is the Cripple Creek / Victor school id info and a few minor case nicks. Nothing too distracting. This phonograph is ready to use and looks nice. Sounds great! Kenwoods' Fully Automatic - Linear tracking turntable. The KD-67F. This is a great table for general use and convenience. Linear tables are great if you have cats or children or or someone who might be clumsy around a normal turntable and just don't want to worry about things, as they must be closed to operate and when the cover is lifted the fragile parts (ie the tone arm and cartridge) go up with the lid. Very dust free, due to lid / cover design and almost impossible to damage your records with! Doesn't hurt that "linear" is the way records are cut in the first place either.
